Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United’s interim manager, has revealed that he would be missing five players for Tuesday’s match against Liverpool.
Rangnick made the announcement during his press conference on Monday before the match against Liverpool today.
Edinson Cavani, Scott McTominay, Luke Shaw, and Raphael Varane all missed United’s previous two games, a 1-0 loss at Everton last week and a 3-2 win over Norwich City on Saturday.
Rangnick has now stated that all five players are still unavailable and will not travel to Anfield.
He said: “Varane didn’t train with the team. He was on the pitch with one of our rehab coaches.
“But with regard to injured players, we have the same situation that we had in the last two games.”
Ronaldo is also a doubt for the clash after losing his newly born son yesterday.
