Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has revealed how much she charged up to N7 million to feature in a Nollywood movie.

The movie star made this known to the public in a recent chat with DOWNTOWN’s Editor, Onah Nwachukwu, and Writer, Kehindé Fagbule.

When asked how much she charged to feature in a movie. Toyin explained that she charged the average of N5 million to feature in any movie.

She added that she doesn’t consider relationships even in business her business to charge for services.

She said, “I normally do five to seven million naira per feature, but there is no way you don’t consider relationships even in business. But I will put the average at five million naira.”

In 2021, Toyin revealed how much actresses earn in the Nollywood movie industry, in her reaction to Ruggedman’s questioning why actresses make more money than their male counterparts.

“It is important that I put this out there that many women make money and make good money legitimately. I know actresses who charge 2 million, 3 million and 5 million in this Nollywood. I get paid in millions of naira for gigs.

“I know a lot of men in Nollywood who are doing extra ordinarily well and paid in millions. The fact that most of these men choose not to make noise on social media do not in any way mean that they are second class citizens in this industry.”
