Manchester United’s dressing room is divided on Erik ten Hag’s likely appointment as the club’s next permanent manager.
Ten Hag, who is presently the coach of Ajax, is the favorite to succeed Jose Mourinho as Man United’s next manager, ahead of other possibilities such as Mauricio Pochettino of Paris Saint-Germain.
According to the Manchester Evening News, some Man United players are delighted about the prospect of working with Ten Hag, while others see him as a “underwhelming” alternative for interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
According to the article, a handful of Man United players want Pochettino to take up the job instead of Ten Hag.
Man United is now searching for a world-class manager to take over from Rangnick in the summer.
Following the resignation of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last November, Rangnick was named interim manager of Man United until the conclusion of the season.
