Wife of singer Bez Idakula has reacted to a tweet that praised Actress Adesua Etomi and singer Simi for hiding their pregnancies from the public.

After Adesua Etomi and Singer Banky W announced the birth of their first child on Instagram on Monday, a sport broadcaster on Nigeria Info FM, Sarafina Napoleon posted a tweet that insinuate that every woman should hide their pregnancies from the public. She added that “wisdom is profitable to direct.”

“Adesua gave birth and made it public a month later,” she tweeted.

“Simi announced the arrival of her baby a month later”.

Reacting to her tweet, Bolatito Ladoja countered her claim that every woman should hide their pregnancies from the public.

In her Instagram post, Bolatito Ladoja stated that Simi and Adesua chose not to announce the birth of her baby was their CHOICE, adding that everyone has a choice.

She added that “many people hid their pregnancies and still had painful losses” while “many shared and have beautiful healthy babies”.

She stated that Simi posted her announced pregnancy so as to inspire so many women to find joy during a sensitive season

“Everything is a choice but messages like these are subtly placing blame on people who are already grieving and struggling with guilt in one way or the other. Please let us STOP IT! It is hardly EVER a woman’s fault when she has a miscarriage or a baby loss and that is something doctors always say! Please please please, if we can’t be supportive or encouraging, let us just keep these opinions that are filled with blame and shame to ourselves!. Thank you!,” She wrote on Instagram.
