    Naira Marley pledges to sing new National Anthem for proposed United African Republic

    Popular Singer, Naira Marley has pledged to sing a new National Anthem for the newly proposed United African Republic.

    According to Pulse Nigeria, Nigeria is planning to change the name of the country to United African Republic.

    Tweeps on popularly micro-blogging platform have reacted to the report and expressed their dissatisfaction to the newly proposed name.

    Comedian Bovi wrote,”Now that you people are planning to change Nigeria’s name to United African Republic, What will I do with My Great nation song?!

    Una Dey stress me too much.”

    Wale Adetona wrote, “Renaming the country United African Republic will not change anything. People just want security, light, good roads and a working economy. Is that too much to ask for?”

    Reality TV star, Tacha wrote,”United African Republic??
    Renaming Nigeria is not Nigerians PROBLEM!! Give us GOOD ROADS, SECURITY, ELECTRICITY, HEALTH CARE.. Just give us BASIC AMENITIES.”

    Now, Naira Marley react to the new development via Twitter, said he is going to sing a new anthem for United African Republic.
