    Presidency confirms Armed robbers attempt to break into Aso Rock

    There was an unsuccessful attempt by Armed robbers to break into Aso Rock the home of president Buhari’s chief of staff, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, according to a statement by the presidency.

    A media report by People’s Gazette, Armed robbers invaded Gambari’s residence inside Aso Rock Villa, Abuja carted away valuable assets.

    However, a statement by President Buhari’s media spokesperson, Garba Shehu, dismissed the report.

    He tweeted, “The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there “was a foolish attempt” to burgle his residence at 3:00am this morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful.

    “Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident.”
