Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United superstar, has resumed training following the death of his infant son.
On Monday, Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, revealed that one of their twin kids died in the womb.
As a result, United’s leadership granted the Portugal international compassionate leave, allowing him to miss United’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night.
But the 37-year-old is back at United’s training base on Wednesday afternoon, ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match against Arsenal.
Both Manchester United and Liverpool fans paid tribute to Ronaldo at Anfield following the tragic news of his son’s death.
Reacting to the respect shown her brother, Ronaldo’s sister, Katia, shared the clip of Liverpool fans applauding and wrote: ‘Way beyond football.’
