The Football Association has given Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel a suspended one-game touchline punishment for his incident with Antonio Conte during their 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
For inappropriate behavior, Conte was also fined £15,000 and Tuchel was fined £35,000.
However, while the complete written justifications for the judgment are awaited, Tuchel’s touchline ban has been temporarily lifted.
As a result, the German will occupy the manager’s seat for Leeds’ Premier League game on Sunday.
Throughout the heated derby, there were several fights between Tuchel and Conte. Both managers got into it, and Anthony Taylor, the referee, issued both of them a booking and a red card.
The FA is still looking into Tuchel’s post-game media comments in regard to this match in a separate investigation.
