    US nurse, Sandra Lindsay becomes first American to be injected with US Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine

    The newly approved US Pfizer BioNTech Covid 19 vaccine has been  administered to first American on Monday morning.

    The vaccination approved by the US government is set to vaccinate over 20 million people this month.

    The long awaited vaccination kicked off today and the first vaccination was administered on Sandra Lindsay who is a nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

    US President, Donald Trump took to his Twitter page to congratulate the US and the world. He tweeted, First vaccine administered, congratulations USA!  congratulations WORLD!”.

    As of time of filing this report, United States of America has recorded 16,787, 878 cases, while 9, 749, 982 recovered from the virus and 306, 789 death, according to worldometer reports.

    In other US Vaccine news, a Nigerian in diaspora identified as Onyema Eberechukwu Ogbuagu, MD who has 17 years experience in the medical field is one of the doctors leading US Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine.

    Onyema Ogbuagu went to University of Calabar, Nigeria to obtained his Medical degree (MBBch), afterwards, attended Mount Sinai School of medicine in 2010 for his residency.

    Onyema Ogbuagu did his fellowship in Yale School of Medicine in 2012.

    We hope the world will be saved from the coronavirus pandemic with the help of US Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.
