Veteran broadcaster and Nollywood actor, Sadiq Daba, is dead.
Late Daba who became a household name in Nigeria for his role as Bitrus in the now rested NTA drama series Cock Crow at Dawn, died on Wednesday evening after a prolonged battle with leukemia and prostate cancer, NTA reports.
He reportedly died at his Marwa Garden residence in Alausa, Lagos State.
The deceased whose acting career came to prominence in the late 1970s had announced his diagnosis of leukemia and prostate cancer in 2017.
Some Nigerians including Dino Melaye, Femi Otedola supported the late actor financially.
