Weeks after being arrested over an alleged rape case, Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong has been granted that bail.
It could be recalled that in June, the actor was arrested by men of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.
While confirming the news during a chat with Qed.ng, the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, revealed that the case is “a very serious one”.
According to him, the case is being handled by the First Lady of the state, Martha Udom Emmanuel through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.
In a new update, friends of the embattled actor have revealed that he has been set free by the court.
According to one of his friends who announced his freedom, the court’s ruling was fair.
