The Super Eagles are looking for a new coach after sacking Gernot Rohr on the eve of the African Cup of Nations next month.

NFF president Amaju Pinnick stated that a new coach would be appointed in the next week or two, implying that Mourinho was involved in the discussions.

He stated that there is no harm in contacting the Roma manager.
