Actor RMD beams with joy as he gets honoured in Ghana

Beloved Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, RMD has been honoured in Ghana with a notable award in the movie industry.

RMD honoured in Ghana

The movie star took to his Instagram page where he shared the good news to his fans on Wednesday evening, September 21st.

RMD disclosed that he will be honoured with Continental Film Icon Award at the 7th EMY Africa Awards in Accra, Ghana on the 1st of October 2022.

According to him, he not sure he will ever get used to being recognised or receiving awards.

Richard Mofe Damijo, RMD wrote, “I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to being recognised or receiving awards because like I told a group of young amazing individuals at Streams of Joy in Umuahia last weekend, I haven’t blown yet.

“But hey, I’m Honored to be receiving the Continental Film Icon Award at the 7th EMY Africa Awards in Accra, Ghana on the 1st of October 2022.

“Ahead of that, I was invited by @emyAfrica to attend the official pre-event party – the MOTY Party –
I connected with other honorees, nominees and champions of industries in Ghana and Africa.

Thank you @emyafrica for this recognition. I am truly honored.”

Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy says she is now a new creation as she gets baptised.

The 31-year-old singer shared the news to her fans on her Instagram page where she shared photos from the baptismal event.

DJ Cuppy wrote, “This summer, I made THE best decision of my life— to fully dedicate my life to God. Baptism isn’t just a ceremony; it’s a transformation. I am a new creation, reborn in His grace ️✝️

Lati introduced me to Chioma – Davido reveals

Nigerian singer and latest groom in town, David Adeleke aka Davido has disclosed the identity of the person who introduced him to his wife, Chioma.

He made this known to the public when he was speaking with some of his groomsmen. According to him, it was his longtime friend and associate, Lati Biola introduced him to Chioma. Davido said: “You know that it was Lati who introduced him to my wife.”

As of the time of filing this report, Davido and Chioma are still in their wedding mood. Their wedding tagged ‘CHIVIDO2024’ has the attendance of celebrities, politicians, and dignitaries from all walks of life including Ooni of Ife, Obi Cubana, and others.

Davido engaged Chioma in 2019 and first addressed her as his wife in the year 2023. In the year, 2024, Davido fulfills his promise to wed Chioma after announcing that his wedding will be held in a few days.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, AKA Davido, has assured the parents of his bride, Chioma Rowland, that their daughter would be respected, protected, and connected in their union.

The latest groom in town disclosed in the ongoing wedding ceremony in Lagos today where he promised Chioma “a lifetime assurance”.

He said: “I promised her a lifetime assurance. I promise you, that your daughter will be protected, respected, and connected.

“Mummy and daddy, I love you.”
