A fire outbreak on Sunday evening destroyed two filling stations worth millions of naira near Boromeo Roundabout in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra. A resident who witnessed the incident said the fire spread to a nearby filling station called Silver and heavy traffic on Awka Road in the city delayed the arrival of firefighters to quench the fire. The other petrol station which was destroyed is Chris-Tee located along Enugu-Onitsha road close to Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha. The Men of the Lagos State Police command has arrested three Dowen College students who were accused of bullying Sylvester Oromoni Junior to death. The Vice chancellor of the Kwara State University, Malete, Prof. Mohammed Akanbi (SAN), has announced that the university would be graduating 6,620 students at this year’s convocation. 3,864 students, he said, are for the 2019/2020 session while 2,756 are for the 2020/2021 session.
