    BREAKING: Lagos State Governor shuts down all schools indefinitely

    Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has ordered the immediate shut down of all schools including private school, public schools and institutions till further notice.

    This new directive was issued today following Federal Government’s declaration of second wave of the coronavirus in the country.

    In a statement issued by the state government, Governor Sanwo-Olu directed all place of worship not to exceed two hours of service.

    Also, the government issued a stay at home order to all civil servants from Grade level 14, for next two weeks.

    Also, the governor banned concerts, carnival, street parties and shutdown Night clubs.

    Sanwo-Olu added that the midnight to 4m curfew imposed by the Federal government remains in place.

    He advised every Lagosians to maintain social distancing and avoid public gathering, wearing face mask at all times in public places.

    Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu wished all Lagosians a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year in advance.
