    Kankara school boys regain freedom [Photos]

    The secretary to the Katsina state government, Mustapha Inuwa has announced the release or abducted Kankara boys who are students of Government Science Secondary School in Kankara area, Katsina.

    In a series of tweet, President Buhari’s personal assistant on news media, Bashir Ahmad also confirmed the report.

    Commenting on the release of the abducted Kankara school boys, President Buhari on social media stated that the release of the kidnapped students serves as a huge relief to the entire country and international communities.

    The president, therefore, thanked Governor Masari of Katsina state, the intelligence Agencies, the military and the police force for their cooperation.

    President Buhari assured Nigerians that is administration will not relent its effort to deal with the challenge bid security, the economy and corruption.

     

    The Daily Page recalled that Boko Haram sects kidnapped about 600 students from Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina state on Friday, December 11th.

    In a viral video released by the terrorist which was obtained by HumAngle, the group claimed that they are responsible for the abduction.

    The group added that the reason for the abduction was that they are against Western education.
