    US Capitol

Over 4500 people have so far signed a petition to compel US Vice President, Mike Pence and Cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment that will remove Donald Trump from office.

This is coming after the capitol invasion as Anti Biden protesters stormed US capitol on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021.

However, it was learnt that Trump’s tweet and video incited the violence attack on US Capitol.

For this reason, a man identified as Andrew Ashley has started a petition on change.org titled ‘Enact the 25th amendment in response to the January attack at the US Capitol building.’

Capitol invasion: Over 4500 sign petitions to impeach Donald Trump

The petition reads below, “After the domestic terrorist attack on the US Capitol building on January 6, 2021, spurned on by Donald Trump and Rudolph Guiliani’s inciting words at a rally earlier that day. Trump directed his followers to march to the Capitol, taking to heart Rudy’s “Trial by Combat” comment.

The aftermath of the damage from the breach is still unknown, but what needs to happen at this moment is a petition for the 25th amendment to be enacted, this amendment can be activated by the Vice President and cabinet to remove a power that has become unfit to lead, today, we saw the worst of Americans and it will not be forgotten. The attack took the life of a woman, multiple law enforcement members injured. It didn’t need to happen, our democracy did not need this challenge.

Please help in signing this petition, so we can send a message to the leaders in Washington to let them know that we are disgusted and appalled by these actions by “Donald Trump’s Domestic Terrorists”. Nothing less than removal of his authority and presidential privilege will do at this point, the one person elected to protect the country above all others, very, very literally let the foxes into the henhouse.”
