Comedian AY celebrates wife, Mabel Makun as she turns 37

Popular comedian, Comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY has taken to social media page to celebrate his wife, Mabel on her 37th birthday.

The movie star and comedian took to his Instagram page where he gushed over his wife’s beauty and wished her birthday.

Comedian AY wrote, “Happy birthday to @realmabelmakun my beautiful, better half.
Wishing you the best birthday ever! I love you.”

This is not the first time Comedian AY will gush over his wife’s beauty. In April, 2021, comedian AY and his wife, Mabel, were hosted by popular motivational speaker, Fela Durotoye, in commemoration of the latter’s 50th birthday. At the event, the comedian and his wife shared tips on how to have a beautiful union. He also noted his wife’s beauty takes shine off me.

He said, “She is not the type that wants to be out there for any reason. In her line of work, she can give you 100 per cent. I am in show business and I know I have a very beautiful wife. Even if I feel like I don’t know, there are people around me who would confirm it to me. I go to events and many times, the focus is off me, who is even the entertainer, (and shifts to my wife)”.

Davido Reveals He’s Igbo By Blood

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.

Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
