Comedian De General graduates from university of Benin

Nigerian comedian, Sunday Joshua Martins, popularly known as De General has graduated from the University of Benin.

The content creator shared photos from his signing out celebration from the university, as his friends, students signed on his white t-shirt.

Announcing his latest achievement, De General wrote, “Finally a graduate.” This is indeed a good news to his fans and colleagues.

De General is now one of the Nigerian celebrities who bagged a bachelor degree this year, 2022.

In other news, De General was arrested arrested by NDLEA after drugs were allegedly found in his apartment.

Daily Post reported that the comedian was convicted by a Federal High court sitting in Lagos for unlawful possession of 15g of Cannabis and 14 g of tramadol.

After his release from detention, De General cleared the air about being a drug trafficker, adding that he is trafficking comedy, not drugs.

“As you all can see, I’m alive, healthy, back in the house. I just want to debunk the news speculating that De General is a drug trafficker.

“I’m not a drug trafficker. If I was a drug trafficker, you think they would allow me to go like that? I only traffic laughter,” he said in a video.

Davido says he is Igbo by tribe

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
