The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has explained why comedian Sunday Martins popularly known as De Generals was arrested.
This was disclosed in a statement released by Spokesman of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi on Wednesday day.
According to the Agency, De Generals was arrested over drug-related issues in the early hours of Wednesday January 12, 2022 at his residence Orchid Estate, Lekki area of Lagos Lagos State.
During the raid, three suspects were arrested with illicit drugs including 200 sachets of 225mg Tramadol and 1.5kilograms of cannabis sativa.
However, Mr. Babafemi revealed that De Generals admitted to owning some of the hard drugs found in his home.
