Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has gone into self isolation after one of his close aides tested positive for coronavirus on 10th December, 2020.

This was made known to the public via the official Twitter account of the Lagos State Government on Friday, 11th December, 2020.

This is not the first time Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will go into self isolation.

According to the Lagos state government, Sanwo-Olu has gone into self isolation three times since May when he announced that 10 of his aides had tested positive for the virus.

However, the state government warned residents of the state to adhere to the prescribed advisory of safe distancing, good hand and respiratory hygiene and avoidance of unnecessary gathering.
