A Better Time album, the newly released album by fem singer, Davido has surpassed over 200million streams in one month.

This was announced by the 28 years old singer on his Instagram page on Sunday, December 13th, 2020.

Sharing the photo of the stream record, the singer wrote, “Forever grateful!! More to come!… A BETTER TIME!.”

According to the records on Davido’s Instagram page, the 213.2 million streams are accumulated from Apple Music (54.7m), Spotify (11.5m), Boomplay (15.7m), Audiomack (95.5m), YouTube (35.8m).

Who is Davido?

Davido whose real name is David Adedeji Adeleke was born on November 21st, 1992.

He is American born Nigerian singer and owner of the record label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).

Davido went to Oakwood University to study Business Administration but later dropped out to concentrate on his musical career.

Davido’s success in music has earned him a lot of fame and awards.

He has released many hit songs which include IF, Fall, Fia, Assurance and others.

Davido has three children. He is engaged to Chioma who is the mother of his third child.

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.

Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
