Genevieve Nnaji who was born on May 3rd, 1979 has acted and directed in over 50 movies. She grew up in Lagos, although born in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria.
Raised by an engineer(Father) and a school teacher (mother), she is the fourth of eight children.
Genevieve Nnaji got her basic education in Methodist Girls College, Yaba, Lagos. She then proceeded and got her bachelor’s degree at the University of Lagos.
Genevieve Nnaji started auditioning for shows when she was in university but she acted in a soap opera titled ‘Ripples’ when she was 8. At age 19, she acted in the movie titled ‘Most wanted’.
