The Hisbah agency has imposed ban on use of mannequins to display clothes by tailors, supermarkets and boutique owners in Kano state.

According to the agency, mannequins violates Islamic provisions as it is responsible for immoral thoughts among some members of the public.

This new directive was issued by Commander of the state Hisbah board, Sheikh Aroun ibn Sina, on wednesday, June 30th.

He added that the agency would embark on raiding of those places to remove them, describing the use of the mannequins for advert purposes as idolatery.

He said that the men of Hisbah agency have divided Kano into five areas for the monitoring and implementation of the ban across the state.

If they can create their own laws in nigeria, the southeast too needs to state creating laws too. No roaming around with cattle – it’s not hygienic and it’s distroys our farm, no loud speakers in worship centers – it’s noise pollution, no sleeping around without a proper resident- we want to know the criminals, all couples must be above 18 years – pedophiles would be arrested… Christians should wake up as every parts of nigeria have the right to create their own law.
