EA Sports has removed Manchester United attacker Mason Greenwood from FIFA 22.
Greenwood no longer appears in offline modes of the popular football simulation game title.
Also, he has been deleted from the United squad following the latest database update, which was released on all platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on Tuesday, February 1, 2021.
The forward’s FIFA 22 Ultimate Team item, on the other hand, is still active and may be moved on the FUT 22 transfer market.
Greenwood’s virtual player had an overall rating of 79 out of 99 when he was removed from FIFA 22, with a potential rating of 90 out of 99.
On Sunday afternoon, Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault after reports that he was abusive toward a woman.
The 20-year-old will therefore not be training or playing for United until further notice, the club announced on Sunday.
