Mikael Silvestre names ‘most dangerous’ player in EPL

Mikael Silvestre, a former Manchester United and Arsenal player, has revealed the ‘most dangerous’ player in EPL.

According to him, Mohamed Salah who plays for Liverpool team, is the ‘most dangerous’ player in the English Premier League.

Salah has 15 goals in 18 games this season, making him the top goal scorer in the Premier League.

His goals have helped Liverpool climb to second place in the Premier League table.

Salah, on the other hand, came in seventh place in the Ballon d’Or this year, behind Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Jorginho, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Cristiano Ronaldo, but Silvestre disagrees.

When asked who the deadliest [most dangerous] player in the Premier League is, Silvestre told GOAL it’s Salah.

Salah, along with Liberia icon and current President George Weah, is one of Silvestre’s favorite African footballers.

Salah is anticipated to represent Egypt at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will take place in January.

Silvestre admitted that, regardless of Salah’s finish in the Ballon d’Or race, he is currently up there with Ronaldo and Messi based on their form.

“It’s hard and I never thought it would be this difficult to announce that I will leave the country, France, the league and the Championship. But I think, I needed this, a new challenge after seven years.”
