Mikael Silvestre names ‘most dangerous’ player in EPL

Mikael Silvestre, a former Manchester United and Arsenal player, has revealed the ‘most dangerous’ player in EPL.

According to him, Mohamed Salah who plays for Liverpool team, is the ‘most dangerous’ player in the English Premier League.

Salah has 15 goals in 18 games this season, making him the top goal scorer in the Premier League.

His goals have helped Liverpool climb to second place in the Premier League table.

Salah, on the other hand, came in seventh place in the Ballon d’Or this year, behind Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Jorginho, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Cristiano Ronaldo, but Silvestre disagrees.

When asked who the deadliest [most dangerous] player in the Premier League is, Silvestre told GOAL it’s Salah.

Salah, along with Liberia icon and current President George Weah, is one of Silvestre’s favorite African footballers.

Salah is anticipated to represent Egypt at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will take place in January.

Silvestre admitted that, regardless of Salah’s finish in the Ballon d’Or race, he is currently up there with Ronaldo and Messi based on their form.

At the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France, former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane gave the prize.

Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich finished second to Benzema.

Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City and Robert Lewandowski finished third and fourth, respectively.

Alan Shearer names clubs to finish top four this season

Legendary Newcastle United player Alan Shearer picked a team to place in the top four of the Premier League this year.

Along with Manchester United and Chelsea, Alan Shearer predicts that Arsenal will finish in the top four of the Premier League standings this season.

Arsenal presently leads the Premier League standings by one point, followed by Manchester City in second place and Tottenham Hotspur in third.

The positions of Man United and Chelsea are fifth and seventh, respectively.

Shearer, though, is certain that Mikel Arteta’s team will surpass his preseason predictions after their stellar start to the new year.

“I think I might say Arsenal,” Shearer told ViaPlay (as per HITC Sport).

“It has slightly changed from the beginning of the season. But on the evidence I have seen from Manchester United and Chelsea, then I think Arsenal might sneak in there as well.”
