Why I celebrated Funke Akindele on her 45th birthday – JJC Skillz
Music producer, JJC Skillz has revealed why he celebrated his estranged wife, Funke Akindele on her birthday.
He made this known to the public in an exclusive chat with TVC Esplash on Thursday, August 25th.
According to him, he wished Funke Akindele a happy birthday because he is human.
He said: I am human, the most important thing is children and I wish her luck.
The Daily Page News recalls that JJC Skillz melted hearts with his 45th birthday surprise for Funke Akindele.
Taking to his Instagram page, he shared a video collage comprising his favorite moments of Funke and their twin boys.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “Happy birthday my darling mama ibeji, I pray for our children to embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations. Today is your day to celebrate and live to the fullest, Long life and prosperity.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
