New Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been encouraged by Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster to ‘smash it’ in the Premier League next season.
Haaland, according to Foster, is a beast who will bully a lot of players next season.
Last week, Man City announced the five-year signing of Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
So far in his career, Haaland has shown a lot of promise, scoring goals for pleasure for his prior clubs.
The Norwegian international has an incredible goal-scoring record, which Foster feels he can emulate in the Premier League.
Foster, who will become a free agent at the end of the summer, remarked on his podcast: “Man City getting Haaland – if you had to pick one player, you could practically guarantee Man City down to the ground it’ll have to Erling Haaland,” according to The Manchester Evening News.
“I believe Erling Haaland has the potential to be a better goal scorer than Harry Kane.”
“Once Man City figure out a method to work it, a system that works,” he continued, “he may hit the ground running next season and really destroy it.”
“I’m excited to see him play because he’s a beast, a brute, and he’ll bully a lot of people.”
