Nollywood actor and lawyer, Kanayo O Kanayo met renowned Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Adichie at NBA Conference 2022.

During the conference, Kanayo presented his new book titled, The Testator to Chimamanda Adichie.

His book, The Testator is a tale of murder, betrayal, and the insatiability of the human greed.

Taking to his Instagram page to share photos from the event, Kanayo O Kanayo tells Chimamanda to keep making the country proud.

He wrote, “At the 62nd Annual General Conference of the NBA, 2022, I had the honor and rare privilege of presenting a copy of “The Testator ” to our internationally renowned literary icon and a dear Sister @chimamanda_adichie KEEP MAKING US PROUD. Ya gazie.”

At the ongoing Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association at the Eko Hotel on Monday, Chimamanda Adichie, has said Nigerians do not have enough heroes.

In the conference themed “BOLD Transitions”, she said, “We are starved of heroes. Our young people do not find people to look up to anymore.”

Davido says he is Igbo by tribe

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

I Told Jarvis to Reject ₦3 Billion Netflix Role Over Kissing Scene – Peller Claims

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.

Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
