Pastor who refused to wed couple few days ago after they came late is dead

Pastor Essa Ogorry of the Fulfilling World Foundation in Port Harcourt is dead.
The Daily Page recalled that Pastor Essa Ogorry made news on February 6 after he cancelled a couple’s wedding in his church after the couple arrived church 5 minutes late.
As per media reports, Pastor Ogorry died today, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 of an undisclosed cause.
The sad news of Pastor Ogorry’s death was announced on Facebook by his fellow clergyman, Apostle JD Kosita-Madu of Trinity Worship Centre International.
Sadly, the pastor passed away two days after celebrating the one year Memorial Thanksgiving of his late wife who died exactly one year ago, on Feb 16, 2020. The Memorial service held on Sunday.
Some church members who commented on Facebook alleged that the pastor was not feeling well even before the wedding saga that trended about two weeks ago.

Gunmen kidnap Benue varsity students
Suspected Gunmen have invaded and kidnapped some students of Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi on Monday, April 26th, 2021.
This is coming after Gunmen killed three students of Greenfield University, Kaduna state government confirmed on Friday.
Confirming the abduction of Benue varsity students, the university’s spokesperson Rosemary Waku said in a statement that reads below:
“The University has reported the incident to the police and all relevant security agencies.
“The University has not heard anything from the students or their captors since the unfortunate incidence took place.”

Gunmen kill police officers attached to ex-CBN gov, abduct commissioner
Some unknown gunmen have killed three police officer attached to ex Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, in his home town.

The Daily Page learnt that incident occurred at a rally organised by Mr Soludo at Isuofia community in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Mother, four children burnt to death in ilorin

Tragedy at Ilorin as fire burnt a mother, named Titilayo Adigun, and her four children to death on Wednesday night, March 17, in Ilorin, Kwara state.
As per media reports, her fifth child survived the inferno at Ifesowapo community, behind “F” Division police station Tanke, Ilorin.
It was gathered that the fire was caused by a candlelight that later resulted into flames, following days of power outage.
At the time of the inferno, it was the father of the house was not around.
As of time of filing this report, the only surviving child is said to be receiving medical attention at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).
