The Italian international challenged his Chelsea teammates to give it their best this season in order to deliver the FIFA Club World Cup title to Stamford Bridge.

The FIFA Club World Cup trophy has yet to be added to Chelsea’s trophy cabinet.

The Blues competed in the event in 2012, but were defeated in the final by Corinthians of Brazil.

It means a lot to me, and I’m sure it means a lot to the club as well. Because we’ve never won this trophy before, and this is the proper time to do so,” Jorginho stated in a FIFA interview.

“We need to stay humble,” he added, “since underestimating your opponents might get you into problems.” To arrive in the game and be able to win, you must be prepared, train properly, sleep well, eat well, and do everything as professionally as possible.

“It’s exactly what we want to do, and it’s exactly what we enjoy doing.” We don’t like losing games, and we’d like to take this trophy home with us.”
