Xavi Hernandez, the manager of Barcelona, has stated that there is no player in the world as talented as Pedri.
On Sunday, the Spanish midfielder came off the bench as Barcelona trounced Valencia 4-1 in LaLiga.
Pedri, who had only recently returned from injury, appeared to have scored the fourth goal from long range, but it was eventually awarded to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Xavi Hernandez, on the other hand, was full of admiration for the adolescent.
“There is no player in the world with Pedri’s level of talent – and he’s only 19!”
“He is really outstanding.” The way he turns, his awareness of space and time, and the fact that he uses both feet are all impressive. It’s fantastic to have him on the team, and we must look after him.
“Look, he’s not your typical player. There aren’t many like him.
“At his age, he might already be the best in the world in his position,” Xavi speculated.
