According to the 63-year-old manager, the squad he would receive is better compared to Jurgen Klopp’s team in 2015.

Jurgen Klopp who is widely regarded as one of the best managers in the world is often used as a benchmark for new managers in the league.

During the six years tenure of Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool, he was able to bring the club to the brink of a championship despite not inheriting a better squad.  And then he was given the opportunity to appropriately steer the ship back on course.

Speaking at his first United press conference on Friday, Rangnick said, “When Jurgen Klopp came to Liverpool, the squad he inherited at the time was definitely not a better squad than the one I inherit here now at United.”

Rangnick added that Jurgen was able to coach his players to win games in style, control the games. For this reason, he urged United to do the same as well.

The 65 years old new United coach, Ralf Rangnick who began his coaching career in 1983, at age 25, is said to be one of the visionaries for the ‘Gegenpress’ tactics adopted by Klopp.
