    Anthony Joshua: AJ knocks out Kubrat Pulev to retain his titles

    Nigerian- British professional boxer, Anthony Joshua has knocked out Kubrat Pulev in the ninth round of the world heavyweight champion fight which took place on Saturday night, December 12, 2020.

    Anthony Joshua defeated Kubrat Pulev to retain the world’s heavyweight champion belts after he had beat Pulev in the second round up till the ninth round.

    After his victory, Anthony Joshua took to micro blogging platform, Twitter to share a short clip of the heavyweight champion fight, captioned it, “Thanks for coming”.

    Others, Nigerian celebrities took to twitter to celebrate Anthony Joshua’s victory.

    DJ Cuppy wrote on Twitter, “WHOOP! Congrats to @AnthonyFJoshua and my family… Where are we going for Christmas champ?.”

    Owner of Mavin Records label, Don Jazzy wrote on Twitter, “Ahh already. That’s my boy. I trained him well lol.”

    Who is Anthony Joshua?

    Anthony Joshua whose real name is Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua was born on 15th October, 1989, Watford, United Kingdom.

    He has won the following heavyweight champion belts, the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles.

    Since Anthony Joshua knocked out Kubrat Pulev after ninth round in heavyweight champion fight on December 12th, 2020, he now remains as the world heavyweight champion.
